Modern Foreign Languages
Gifted and talented students in Modern Foreign languages create a vodcast
Earlier this month, 20 year students went to Bristol zoo to create a vodcast in French and German. In the morning, they looked around the zoo and did some filming as well as took some pictures. Later the had a guided tour where they were told about some of the animals, how endangered some are and the programme that Bristol zoo has put into place to protect them.
Back in school, the students downloaded their pictures into a file on the school computer and started selecting their pictures and wrote their script.
We gathered again for 2 hours where they used Audacity to record their script and downloaded their chosen pictures onto Windows Movie Maker. They worked very hard and after two hours their presentation were ready. I am very pleased with the work produced and shows how confident the students are in using different media and ICT to produce a very informative presentation.
